on March 15th 1915 and came out to France on October 24th.
Mother and Dad's Silver Wedding day Nov 25th. Been married 25 years.
We went up Ploegsteert and we were heavily shelled. Saw two Cheshire's
get killed. Heavily shelled at Romarin and I received a slight shrapnel
wound. November 29 1915.
Brother Harold wounded in the Hohenzollern Redoubt with Machine Gun
fire.
Brother Bernard enlisted March 22nd 1915 in the Notts RHA.
A & C Companies depart for some unknown destination for road mending.
First time in the trenches March 29th. 1 killed and 2 wounded.
Saw first Airmen brought down by Germans March 14th.
Received slight wound at Steenwerck. Shrapnel in the wrist. Shelled
at Romarin Nov 29th.
