3/5th
(Territorial) Battalion
The
3/5th Battalion was formed at Derby on 29th March 1915 with the purpose
of training and supplying drafts to the 1/5th and 2/5th Battalions.
On 8th April 1916 it was retitled the 5th Reserve Battalion and on 1st
September 1916 it absorbed the 6th (formerly 3/6th) Reserve Battalion
as part of the North Midland Reserve Brigade (Territorial Force).
